TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS OF SIX CONTINENTS HOTELS DE COLOMBIA (HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL CARTAGENA)

AIM

Inform clearly and precisely the terms and conditions of the room reservation purchased with Six Continents Hotels De Colombia SA (Hotel InterContinental Cartagena)

An individual reservation is defined as a reservation that a client made and is not part of a group or negotiation for more than 9 rooms.

APPLICATION

Terms and conditions applicable to the client who has purchased an individual accommodation reservation at Six Continents Hotels De Colombia SA (Hotel InterContinental Cartagena)

CONCEPTS:

1. Registration policy for entering the hotel (Check In) and leaving the hotel (Check Out)

Your reservation begins at 3:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m.) on the day of arrival and ends at 12:00 p.m. (12:00 p.m.) on the day of your departure.

1.2. Accommodation Registration Card (Register Card)

to. Tourist accommodation service providers must keep track of guests by filling out the accommodation registration card in the system that, for all purposes, is provided by the national government.

b. The accommodation registration card is proof of the accommodation contract

1.3. Entry Policy before 03:00 pm (Early Check In)

to. Subject to availability.

b. Check-in before 6:00 am is charged for the entire night, granting breakfast if the rate for the following days has it included.

c. Check-in between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm, half the rate acquired during your stay is charged, providing breakfast in the event that the rate for the following days does not include it.

1.4. Departure Policy before your initial reserved date (Early Departure)

to. Inform your early departure one day in advance of the new departure date, so that the hotel can have the room available for sale.

b. If you do not provide this information, you will be subject to charging the guest for the night(s).

c. Charge 100% of unused nights for group reservations.

1.5. Check-out policy after 12:00 pm  (Late Check Out)

to. Subject to availability.

b. Late check out until 2:00 pm (2:00 pm) without charge when they are members of the IHG ONE REWARD loyalty program

c. Late check out between 3:00 pm (3:00 pm) and 7:00 pm (7:00 pm) half the rate acquired during the guest's stay will be charged.

d. Late check out after 7:00 p.m. (7:00 p.m.) the full rate acquired during the guest's stay will be charged.

2. ROOM IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (Upselling)

to. Subject to availability

b. The client will be offered the possibility of purchasing attributes that improve their initial reservation such as: change of view, change of room category, access to the hotel's club lounge, early check-in, late check-out.

c. The client will accept the additional charge that will be generated by these voluntarily selected improvements

d. The client cannot reverse the purchase of upgrades once they enter their room

3. Cancellation and Modification Policy

to. You may cancel or modify your reservation(s) without penalty if you do so before 3:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m.) the day before your arrival date; If you do not use your reservation and have not canceled or modified it within the established time, you will be charged a penalty for the value of the first night of accommodation plus taxes and additional services reserved. Does not apply to non-refundable rates.

b. Non-guaranteed reservations will be canceled 72 hours before arrival date

4.Policy for Registration of Minors

If you are traveling with your child(ren) under 18 years of age, you must present the identification document of the minor(s) (civil registry), which demonstrates said relationship.  of kinship. If the minor(s) are not traveling in the company of their parents, you must deliver at the reception, in addition to the minor's identification document (civil registry), the parents' permission, which must be be authenticated by a Notary and accompanied by a copy of the identification document of those who gave the authorization. Without this documentation, minors are not allowed to enter the hotel. 5.Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud Policy

6.Smoking policy

We would like to inform you that our hotel is a SMOKE-FREE property. For your health and safety, smoking is NOT allowed in the room. If this rule is not respected, an amount of COP 2,000,0000 + VAT will be charged, which will be reflected in your account.

7.Accompanying policy

For security reasons, all our guests must be registered at the reception during check-in. The entry of new guests is not allowed during the stay. InterContinental Cartagena will not accept the registration of additional guests or companions, according to its security policies if they were not registered at the time of check-in.

8. Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Prevention Policy

For the purposes of the above, the client expressly authorizes the hotel to consult the lists, information systems and databases that may be applicable and if any report is found, the hotel will proceed to carry out the contractual and/or legal actions that may be required. correspond. The client undertakes to carry out all the necessary activities or procedures, aimed at ensuring that its partners, administrators, contractors, clients, suppliers, employees, etc., and/or their resources, are not related to or come from illicit activities. , particularly, of those previously stated. These behaviors will give rise to the legitimate termination of the lodging contract by the hotel operator.

9.Declaration of Origin and Destination of Funds

The guest declares that his economic and/or physical resources do not come from and will not be used for illicit activities contemplated in the Colombian Penal Code or in any regulation that modifies or adds to it.

10. Authorization for Processing of Personal Data

The guest authorizes SIX CONTINENTS HOTELS DE COLOMBIA (HOTEL INTERCONTINENTAL CARTAGENA) to process their personal data, which has been delivered through various marketing channels such as websites, call centers, among others. The hotel informs that personal data will be kept with special care, in accordance with those established in Law 1266 of 2008, Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other regulations that modify, regulate or expand the regulation on the matter, as well as what is contemplated in the Privacy Policies and Personal Data Processing Manual, which can be consulted at the following link: www.linkadefinir.com

11.Withdrawal Policy

When booking our services through the portal www.ihg.com or directly with the hotel via email or telephone calls, you can exercise the right of withdrawal no later than five business days from the purchase confirmation. The withdrawal will not apply for reservations whose arrival date is before five days.

To apply for the right of withdrawal, send an email to mailpordefinir@ihg.com if you made your purchase through the website, or contact the Reservation Center if you made your purchase through said channel. The refund of the money will be made without deductions of any kind, by bank deposit in the name of the owner of the reservation or by reversal to the credit card used for the purchase, depending on the payment method used, within the following 30 calendar days from the moment in which I exercise the right.

12.Reversal Policy

When you reserve our services through www.ihg.com or the Reservation Center and have used a credit or debit card or any other electronic payment instrument as a means of payment and the means of payment used is issued by a financial institution domiciled in Colombia, may request reversal in case of fraud, unsolicited operation or purchased product not received.

13.NO PRESENTATION (NO SHOW)

When the user of the tourist services fails to comply by not showing up or not using the agreed services, the hotel may, at its discretion, demand payment of 20% of the entire price or rate established or retain the deposit or advance that it had previously received from the user. if it had been agreed upon.

If you make a reservation through channels other than direct with the hotel or www.ihg.com and need to modify or cancel, you must do so with the agency or website where you originally booked. The InterContinental Cartagena hotel will not make modifications to reservations that are not made directly between the client and the hotel.

14.The hotel is a commercial establishment open to the public with restricted access. The hotel reserves the right of admission and permanence within its facilities.   

15.The hotel has no obligation to extend accommodation contracts if there is no space, except in exceptional cases in accordance with the law.

16. The hotel may relocate the guest to another hotel or refund the money in case of overbooking.

17. The hotel has closed circuit television, so the guest will be recorded for security reasons, except in the rooms. The recordings are private to the hotel and the guest will not have access to them, unless ordered by a competent judicial authority.

18. The guest is prohibited from making recordings in their areas with sexual, offensive, ridiculing, reputational, or life or health threatening activities.

19.Pet access is prohibited.
